Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, brown sugar, and salt until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased 9×9 inch baking pan.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  6. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  7. Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
  8. Bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until set.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
