- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into a pie pan to form the crust.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sugar and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until well incorporated.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Pour the filling into the crust.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the center is set.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and brown sugar; spread over the cooled cheesecake.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pecans for the best flavor.
- For a sweeter taste, add more brown sugar to the topping.
