- 4 large egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups mixed fresh fruit (berries, kiwi, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
- In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Mix in vanilla extract and vinegar.
- Spoon the meringue onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a circle.
- Bake for 1 hour. Turn off the oven and let it cool inside.
- Once cooled, top with whipped cream and fresh fruit.
Notes
- Store in a cool place, not in the fridge.
- Use fresh fruit for best flavor.
- Make sure the bowl is free of grease when whipping egg whites.
