A creamy and delicious broccoli mushroom bake inspired by Paula Deen.
Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Steam the broccoli until tender, about 5 minutes.
- In a skillet, sauté mushrooms and onion in butter until soft.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Add steamed broccoli and sautéed mushrooms to the mixture and stir well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic powder or your favorite herbs.
- You can substitute the cheddar cheese with your preferred cheese.
