Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices of rye bread
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Secret sauce: 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 teaspoon mustard, 1 teaspoon pickle relish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish to make the secret sauce.
- Form the ground beef into patties.
- Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until caramelized.
- Assemble the sandwich with a slice of bread, a patty, cheese, onions, and another slice of bread.
- Grill the sandwich in the skillet until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve with secret sauce on the side.
