Description
A pastel-themed Thanksgiving dinner that combines traditional flavors with soft, inviting colors.
Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole turkey (14-16 lbs)
- Olive oil – 1/4 cup
- Salt – 2 tablespoons
- Pepper – 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder – 1 tablespoon
- Onion powder – 1 tablespoon
- Fresh rosemary – 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh thyme – 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Mashed potatoes – 4 lbs
- Butter – 1/2 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Green beans – 2 lbs
- Almonds – 1/2 cup, sliced
- Stuffing – 1 box
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Pumpkin pie – 1 pie
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, and thyme.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover it with foil.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 to 4 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
- Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash with butter and milk.
- Sauté green beans in a pan with sliced almonds until tender.
- Prepare the stuffing according to the package instructions.
- Serve cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie as sides.

- Let the turkey rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.
