A delicious and easy recipe for Panda Express-style orange chicken.

- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, egg, and water to create a batter.
- Dip chicken pieces into the batter.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In another pan, combine soy sauce, orange juice, sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce and stir until well coated.
- Serve hot over rice.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
