Description

This dish features pan seared salmon topped with a rich and creamy Florentine sauce, combining flavors of spinach and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add salmon fillets, skin-side down, and sear for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove salmon from the pan and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  8. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  9. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  10. Return salmon to the pan, spoon sauce over the top, and serve.
