Ingredients

- 4 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Place the cod in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the cod and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and stir to combine.
- Return the cod to the skillet, spoon sauce over fillets, and cook for an additional minute.
- Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
