Delicious overnight cinnamon rolls that are soft and gooey.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Heat milk and butter until warm, then add to dry ingredients.
- Add eggs and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out dough on a floured surface.
- Spread butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar on dough.
- Add raisins if desired, then roll tightly.
- Cut into 12 rolls and place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- You can freeze unbaked rolls for later use.
- Adjust the sweetness of icing to your preference.
