Ingredients

- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add the rice, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
