- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and beef broth.
- Add lasagna noodles and Italian seasoning.
- Simmer until noodles are tender.
- Stir in ricotta and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with remaining mozzarella cheese.
