Description

A simple and delicious one pot lasagna pasta recipe.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 4 cups water
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic.
  2. Add the marinara sauce, water, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Break the lasagna noodles in half and add them to the pot.
  4. Stir and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until noodles are cooked.
  6. Stir in the ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover and let it melt for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • Use ground turkey for a leaner option.
