A simple and flavorful one pot chicken piccata dish.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup capers
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping the bottom of the pan.
- Add capers and return the chicken to the skillet.
- Simmer for 15 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Serve with pasta or rice.
- Adjust lemon juice according to taste.
- Can substitute chicken with fish for variation.
