- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Add chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
- Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender.
- Stir in the heavy cream and remaining butter, mixing well.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and cook until heated through.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley before serving.
