- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove patties and set aside.
- Add mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until soft.
- Sprinkle flour over mushrooms and stir.
- Add beef broth and ketchup, stirring until thickened.
- Return the patties to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve with gravy over the patties.
