This recipe allows you to make Olive Garden-style breadsticks at home.
Ingredients

- 2 cups warm water
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add vegetable oil, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a floured surface.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Punch down the dough and roll it into sticks.
- Place the sticks on a baking sheet and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.
Notes
- Serve warm for best taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
