Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add vegetable oil, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 5 minutes on a floured surface.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Punch down the dough and roll it into sticks.
  7. Place the sticks on a baking sheet and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and Parmesan cheese.
