Ingredients

  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup raw peanuts
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking sheet with butter.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat until boiling.
  3. Add peanuts and stir continuously until the mixture reaches 300°F.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla, and baking soda.
  5. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
  6. Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
