Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Combine sugar, cocoa powder, and milk in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Once boiling, cook for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
- Beat the mixture until it thickens.
- If using, stir in nuts.
- Pour into a greased pan and let it cool.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be cut into squares once fully cooled.
- Adjust cocoa to taste if you prefer a richer flavor.
