Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, cocoa powder, and milk in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Once boiling, cook for 4-5 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
  5. Beat the mixture until it thickens.
  6. If using, stir in nuts.
  7. Pour into a greased pan and let it cool.
