A classic recipe for making meals in a crock pot with traditional methods.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of beef chuck roast
- 1 cup of beef broth
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
Instructions
- Prepare the vegetables and place them in the bottom of the crock pot.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the beef on all sides.
- Add the browned beef to the crock pot on top of the vegetables.
- Pour in the beef broth and add Worcestershire sauce and thyme.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Check for tenderness and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust cooking times based on your crock pot model.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like peas or green beans.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
