- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup white rice, uncooked
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 1 hour without peeking.
- Remove from the oven and stir in the cheddar cheese.
- Cover again and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Do not remove the foil during baking for best results.
- You can substitute the chicken with turkey or other proteins.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
