Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup white rice, uncooked
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, mixed vegetables, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake for 1 hour without peeking.
  6. Remove from the oven and stir in the cheddar cheese.
  7. Cover again and let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Do not remove the foil during baking for best results.
