Ingredients
- Collard greens – 2 bunches
- Black-eyed peas – 1 pound
- Cornbread – 1 batch
- Fried chicken – 4 pieces
- Macaroni and cheese – 1 pan
- Sweet potatoes – 4 medium
- Ham hock – 1 piece
- Onion – 1 large, diced
- Garlic – 3 cloves, minced
- Chicken broth – 4 cups
Instructions
- Wash and chop collard greens.
- Soak black-eyed peas overnight.
- Cook black-eyed peas with ham hock and onion.
- Prepare cornbread according to recipe.
- Fry chicken until golden brown.
- Boil and mash sweet potatoes.
- Make macaroni and cheese according to recipe.
- Serve all dishes hot.
