Description
A festive meal to celebrate the New Year.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups of rice
- 1 lb of chicken, diced
- 1 cup of mixed vegetables
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- In a separate pot, cook rice according to package instructions.
- Add the cooked rice to the chicken and vegetable mixture.
- Pour in soy sauce and mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
- This dish can be made vegetarian by omitting chicken.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to three days.
