Ingredients

- 2 lbs of beef tenderloin
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the beef on all sides.
- Transfer the beef to a baking dish.
- In the same skillet, add red wine and beef broth, scraping up any browned bits.
- Pour the mixture over the beef in the baking dish.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until desired doneness.
- Remove from oven, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Finish with butter before slicing and serving.

- Serve with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.
- Pair with a nice red wine.
