  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the beef on all sides.
  4. Transfer the beef to a baking dish.
  5. In the same skillet, add red wine and beef broth, scraping up any browned bits.
  6. Pour the mixture over the beef in the baking dish.
  7. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until desired doneness.
  8. Remove from oven, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes.
  9. Finish with butter before slicing and serving.
