- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the beef on all sides until browned.
- Add garlic and rosemary, cooking for 1 minute.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove the beef and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add red wine and beef broth, scraping the bottom.
- Simmer until reduced, then stir in butter.
- Slice the beef and serve with the sauce.
