Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the beef tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the beef on all sides until browned.
  5. Add garlic and rosemary, cooking for 1 minute.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Remove the beef and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  8. In the same skillet, add red wine and beef broth, scraping the bottom.
  9. Simmer until reduced, then stir in butter.
  10. Slice the beef and serve with the sauce.
