Instructions

  1. Rinse the black-eyed peas and soak them overnight.

  5. Add cumin, stir well.
  6. Add soaked black-eyed peas, diced tomatoes, and vegetable broth.
  7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  8. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
