- 2 tsp baking powder

- 2 cups mixed berries for decoration
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk, vanilla, and almond extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, layer the cakes and decorate with mixed berries and powdered sugar.
Notes

- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
