Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine both mixtures and stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool and cut into squares.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Top with seasonal fruits for added flavor.
- Can substitute cocoa powder with carob powder for a different taste.
