Description
A classic dessert bar with layers of chocolate, custard, and coconut.
Ingredients

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup custard powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix butter, sugar, and cocoa powder.
- Add graham cracker crumbs and coconut. Stir well.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased pan.
- In another bowl, combine powdered sugar, custard powder, and milk to make the custard layer.
- Spread the custard over the chocolate layer in the pan.
- Melt chocolate and butter together. Pour over the custard layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator.
- Use a sharp knife for clean cuts.
- Let bars sit at room temperature for a few minutes before cutting.
