Savory tarts filled with mushrooms, shallots, and herbed goat cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
- 1 shallot, diced
- 4 oz herbed goat cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Heat olive oil in a pan, add shallots and mushrooms, and sauté until soft.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread the mushroom mixture on the pastry squares.
- Add crumbled herbed goat cheese on top.
- Brush the edges with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
- Try adding fresh herbs for extra flavor.
