Description
Mozzarella stuffed rosemary parmesan soft pretzels are a delicious twist on classic pretzels. They combine the flavors of rosemary and parmesan with gooey mozzarella inside.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup baking soda
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the top and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Flatten each piece and place mozzarella in the center. Fold dough over the cheese and shape into a pretzel.
- In a pot, bring water and baking soda to a boil. Boil each pretzel for 30 seconds, then remove and place on a baking sheet.
- Brush each pretzel with beaten egg and sprinkle with rosemary and parmesan.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm for the best taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Feel free to add other herbs if desired.
