- 2 large onions
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the onions into thick rings.
- Separate the onion rings and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
- Place flour in a separate dish.
- Stuff each onion ring with mozzarella cheese.
- Dredge the stuffed onion rings in flour, dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
- Use large onions for better stuffing.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
