- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in chopped basil and mix well.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on each chicken breast.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and chicken is cooked through.
