Ingredients
- Rolled oats: 2 cups
- Peanut butter: 1 cup (creamy or chunky)
- Brown sugar: 1 cup, packed
- Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
- Eggs: 2 large
- Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
- Chocolate chips: 1 cup (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- M&M’s: 1 cup (plus extra for topping)
- Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon (optional)
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven and gather all ingredients.
- Mix the wet ingredients: peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: rolled oats, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently. Fold in chocolate chips and M&M’s.
- Shape the cookies and place them on a baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Press extra M&M’s on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
