Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add peppermint extract and green food coloring. Mix well.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- During the last few minutes of churning, add the chocolate chips.
- Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger mint flavor, increase the amount of peppermint extract.
- Store the ice cream in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
