Ingredients

- 1 cup of fresh cherries, pitted
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla.
- Roll out the pie crust and cut into small circles.
- Place the crust circles in a mini muffin tin.
- Fill each crust with the cherry mixture.
- Cover with another crust circle and seal edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use frozen cherries if fresh ones are not available.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of cherries.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
