- 1 package of pre-made pastry dough
- 400g mincemeat
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Roll out the pastry dough and cut circles for bases and tops.
- Place the base circles in a muffin tin.
- Fill each base with mincemeat.
- Cover with top circles and seal the edges.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Use store-bought mincemeat for convenience.
- Adjust spices in mincemeat according to your taste.
- These pies can be made ahead and frozen.
