  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
  5. Add ground beef and sausage; cook until browned.
  6. Stir in marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Combine cooked pasta with the meat sauce.
  8. Spread half of the pasta mixture in a baking dish.
  9. Layer half of the mozzarella cheese over the pasta.
  10. Add the remaining pasta, then top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
