Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add black beans, corn, salsa, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the tortilla chips at the bottom.
- Spread half of the beef mixture over the chips.
- Sprinkle with one cup of cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining chips, beef mixture, and cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Serve with sour cream and guacamole.
- Can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
- Vegetarian version can use beans and veggies instead of meat.
