Ingredients

- 1/2 cup lard
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup filling (pork, chicken, or beans)
Instructions
- Mix masa harina, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Add lard and mix until crumbly.
- Gradually add caldo de pollo until dough forms.
- Shape dough into small balls.
- Flatten each ball and add filling.
- Wrap in corn husks and steam for 1 hour.
Notes
- Use fresh corn husks for best results.
- Fillings can vary based on preference.
- Serve with salsa or mole sauce.
