Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs.
  5. Remove meatballs and add mushrooms to the skillet, cooking until soft.
  6. Stir in flour, then add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Bring to a simmer, then mix in sour cream.
  8. Add meatballs back to the skillet and coat with sauce.
  9. Transfer to the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
