Martha Washington candy is a sweet treat made from a mixture of nuts, coconut, and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, coconut, chopped nuts, butter, and vanilla.
- Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Chill the balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
- Let the chocolate set before serving.
