Delicious maple pecan sticky buns with a sweet glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Heat milk and butter until warm; add to dry ingredients.
- Add egg and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Let rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread melted butter and sprinkle brown sugar and pecans.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into pieces.
- Place in a greased baking dish.
- Pour maple syrup over the buns.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the oven for best texture.
