A simple recipe for make-ahead stuffing, perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and celery until soft.
- Add sage, thyme, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, and parsley.
- Pour vegetable broth over the mixture and mix until well combined.
- Transfer stuffing to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Can be prepared a day in advance.
- Store in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
- Adjust herbs to your taste.
