Ingredients

  • 1 turkey (12-14 lbs)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups cauliflower (mashed)
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 cup mushrooms (sautéed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
  4. Roast the turkey for about 3 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. While the turkey cooks, steam the cauliflower until tender, then mash.
  6. Sauté the green beans and mushrooms in olive oil until cooked.
  7. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  8. Serve with mashed cauliflower, green beans, and sautéed mushrooms.
