- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and a mix of Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs in a third.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
