Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Wash the lemons thoroughly.
  2. Use a vegetable peeler to zest the lemons, avoiding the white pith.
  3. Place the lemon zest in a large jar and pour the vodka over it.
  4. Seal the jar and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for 1 week.
  5. After a week, combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves, then cool.
  6. Strain the lemon vodka mixture and mix it with the sugar syrup.
  7. Bottle the limoncello and refrigerate before serving.
