Ingredients
- Chicken breasts: 4 pieces (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
 - Olive oil: 1/4 cup (60 ml)
 - Lemon juice: 1/4 cup (60 ml, freshly squeezed)
 - Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
 - Fresh herbs: 1/4 cup, chopped (such as parsley, thyme, or rosemary)
 - Salt: 1 teaspoon
 - Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon
 
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by whisking together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
 - Place chicken in a resealable bag or dish, pour marinade over, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours).
 - Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C) and lightly oil the grates.
 - Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess to drip off, and place on the grill. Cook for 6-7 minutes on one side.
 - Flip the chicken and grill for an additional 6-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
 - Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

- For a sweeter marinade, add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup.
 - For heat, consider adding red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
