Description

Ingredients

  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup lemon curd
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Warm milk and butter until melted. Add to dry ingredients.
  3. Beat in eggs until dough forms.
  4. Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  5. Let dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out dough and cut into circles.
  7. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Fry donuts until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Cool slightly and fill with lemon curd.
