- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, ½ cup sugar, and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add 1 cup sugar, eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
- Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Garnish with lemon slices or zest if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
