Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, ½ cup sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add 1 cup sugar, eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Mix until well combined.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  8. Let cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
